Here is copy/paste of the breakdown of skin shader written by Chris. Saved in here for future reference.
Base Blend Map
Fast SSS2 in Base
FastSSS2 (with pink skin preset)
Diffuse unlit plugged into the sub-surface color map
Diffuse color is set to white
Single Scatter Map is plugged into the Diffuse Amount Map
Spec map is set to 0
Coat Material 0 - VraySkin (using only for spec) in order to take advantage of double lobe spec
All diffuse and SSS set yo 0 on this shader
Spec turned on default
Both specs turned on
Fresnel turned off on both specs
Blend Amount 0
Set to VrayFresnel with IOR at 1.33 to match skin
Blend material set to Additive mode to make sure that the SSS still comes through the spec
Displacement
Used displacement map from data
Displacement set to View Dependent, edge length to 0.5
Subd amount to 8
